TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
Home From Home Holidays
Acceptance and confirmation of your booking is subject to the following conditions:-
1 .Booking Deposit :A non-refundable booking deposit of €200.00 per holiday home (per week ie two weeks deposit is €200). No invoice or letter of confirmation can be dispatched until all deposits have been received.
2 Balance of Payment: Full payment of holiday home rental must be made to us, no later than six weeks prior to the rental commencement date. Late payments may result in the holiday home booking(s) being cancelled without advance client notification & loss of deposit.
3 Cancellation by customer: In the event that you wish to cancel your holiday home reservation, the following charges will apply:
A) Between four & six weeks from arrival date, you will forfeit 25% of the holiday home rental cost, or your €200.00 booking deposit, whichever is the greater of the two.
C) Between two & four weeks from arrival date, you will forfeit 50% of the holiday home rental cost, or your €200.00 booking deposit, whichever is the greater of the two.
D) Within two weeks of rental commencement, you will forfeit 100% of the holiday home rental cost.
Electricity Charges & Telephone Charges: An extra charge applies for electricity usage. This charge is payable by the client directly to the on-site manager, prior to departure. The charge is based on individual electricity meter readings & it is advised that the client check these readings both on arrival and on departure. In homes which supply telephones, a similar meter reading takes place. For Kilkee, Redbarn & Bundoran, ESB costs are charged on a daily rate: June, July, and August @ €6 per day. All other months @ €9 per day.
4 Security Deposit & Cleaning: A refundable security deposit of €100.00/ €200.00 must be paid on arrival. In the case of ‘group bookings’ where two or more units have been booked under the same name, a deposit of €200.00 is required PER UNIT. The deposit will be refunded once the on-site manager is satisified that the terms & conditions of rental have been complied with. Final cleaning is included in the rental charge, but failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of security deposit. When a rental is for longer than one week, cleaning of the house during rental must be requested from the on-site manager and a fee may apply.
5 Arrival & Departure Times: Specific arrival and departure times are outlined on the directions sheet for each holiday home development. These times must be strictly adhered to. FAILURE TO NOTIFY THE SUPERVISOR OF LATE ARRIVAL WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF RESERVATION.
6 Right to Decline: Home From Home Holidays reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final balance payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of the booking.
7 Home from Home Holidays does not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25 unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in such groups and will not refund monies paid in advance in the event on non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.
8 Behaviour: Home From Home Holidays reserves the right to terminate this contract if the behaviour or conduct of the consumer either prior to or during a holiday is likely to endanger the safety or well being of other consumers in the party or that of the consumer himself.
9 Accommodation Capacity: For insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each holiday home must not exceed the maximum capacity. As the capacity in each holiday home may vary, it is important that you check with Home From Home Holidays in advance, to ensure that you do not exceed the limit, which applies to the holiday home you have booked with us.
10 Pets: Pets are not permitted in any holiday home.
11 Liability: Home From Home Holidays, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay.
12 Complaints: In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the site-manager. Failing a satisfactory solution, the complaint should be place in writing within 7 days to: Customer Care Department, Home From Home Holidays, Kent Street, Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
13 Default by the Consumer: The consumer is obliged to ensure that all documentation and details issued to you by Home From Home Holidays are correct. In the unlikely event that you do not agree with documentation, it must be brought to our attention immediately.
14 Bed Linen: is supplied free of charge in each holiday home. Towels and t-towels are not supplied. When a holiday home is being rented for more than one week, you may liase directly with the site manager if fresh bed linen is required. A nominal fee may be required for these extra services.
15 Special Requests: request for cots, high chairs, camp beds, etc. must be made to us in writing and whilst we will endeavour to do all possible to meet your request, it cannot be guaranteed.
16 Late Arrivals: Failure to notify the on-site manager of a late arrival may result in your reservation being cancelled. |
